• 120mm Fan (up to 25mm height)

• 4x screws

  • M3x30mm for 120x25mm fan

  • M3x20mm for 120x15mm fan (low-profile/slim)

• 4x Heat set insert M3x5x4 (3mm ID, 5mm OD, 4mm Length)

• 4x 6mm magnets (optional, model has a slight friction fit)

You can power the fan directly from your PC if the enclosure is placed nearby. If the cable is too short, an extension may be required. I routed the cable through the PCIe slot cover, which allows the fan to be controlled by the computer—and even enables automatic speed adjustments based on the hard disk temperature.

Install the fan as an exhaust (blowing air out of the enclosure) to effectively remove hot air.
