Description

This Nozzle Wiper is for the CORE One (+) and uses the Bambu Lab A1 silicone brush.

This is a remix of to the best available nozzle wiper on printables from S3BR4.

On the original model the A1 brush comes loose from the holder at the corner after some wiping movements, see picture below.

The remix fixes this inconvenient behavior with retaining brackets at both ends and also includes two other minor improvements (slightly enlarged brush bed, beveled corner).

Printing recommendations:

  • PETG or other non brittle filament

  • 0.4 nozzle

  • 0.20mm structural

  • 3 Perimeters

  • 20% infill, Gyroid

  • Support on build plate only, Organic, the supports are very easy to remove

Needed parts:

  • Bambu Lab A1 silicone brush with adhesive tape

  • M3 hex nut

  • M3x10mm screw

Assembly:

  • remove the protection sheet from the adhesive bottom of the A1 brush

  • note the rounded corners of the brush, they should be aligned to the round corners on the holder.

  • insert the A1 brush on one side of the holder, bend the brush and insert the other side into the holder.

  • push the brush down into the holder

  • insert the M3 nut into the recess on the holder

  • put the holder on the rail near the mounting point and slide it to the right

  • fix the nozzle wiper with the M3x10mm screw onto the frame

For the needed Slicer Start G-Code see the original part description.

NOTE: Test all added G-Codes before printing, use at your own risk.
