Description
To protect objects from scratches or other damages i created some simple jaws for my bench vise.
The model is very simple, just some covers to put on the bench vise made of TPU with higher shore hardness.
I printed the jaws for a bench vise on my Bambu Lab P1S with the following settings:
Material: TPU Silk from Sunlu in Black (98A)
Nozzle-Temp: 240°C
Bed-Temp: 30°C (Bambu Lab Textured PEI)
Support: Yes (tree)
Nozzle: 0,4mm
Layer Height: 0,2mm
Infill: 25% (gyroid)
Wall Loops: 3
Wall Generator: Standard
Bottom and Top Shell Layers: 5
Initial Layer Speed: 50mm/s
Outer Wall Speed: 100mm/s
Inner Wall Speed: 150mm/s
Infill Speed: 150mm/s
Travel Speed: 500mm/s
Fan Speed: 30%
Brim: No
To make them looking a little bit nicer i put some hexagonal pattern on the front of the jaws.
The original size fits any bench vise with the following dimensions:
height: 23mm
width: 127mm
depth: 5mm
Feel free to scale it matching you needs.
