Battery Plug Protector for MetroY Pro

I designed these parts so the USB-C plug of the battery grip is protected when using it in combination with an extension cable. I quite like to place the battery in my pocket then which could kink or damage the plug over time. This model should reduce the risk a bit but still stay aware for not abusing the plug.

Printing and Assembly

The protection has to be printed from TPU since it needs to slide over the battery handle. There are two options to print: A round one which is a bit more compact and a hexagonal one which prevents the grip from rolling around.
I printed them on my A1 Mini with some generic TPU. The round version still fits in the original case and foam insert.
For assembly just slide it on the grip and fine adjust the placement so the USB cutout fits. Since I also provide the STEP files you can adjust the cutout for you own cables if needed.
