TPU-Stoppers for Filament Spool Holder Axis of Prusa Enclosure V2 - MMU2S

Motivation

After years of happily working with the Lack Enclusure

and juggling with the aluminium tubes falling out of the spool holder when changing spools, I finally took some time to design TPU stoppers for the 8mm aluminium tube used as axis.
The stoppers are simply pushed onto the open ends of the axis and fit neatly into the spacing of the spool holder core.
They properly hold the tubes in place when changing spools.

Hurra, it works ... I should have done this much earlier

Material:        Sunlu TPU 95A (white)
Layer height:  0.2 mm
Supports:       no
Brim:               no
Sheet:             smooth or satin metal sheet

Sequential printing minimizes stringing and results in better part quality.

Assembly

[1] Place the aluminium tube axis in the spool holder core
[2] Push a spool holder onto each open end of the axis and fit them neatly into the spacings (left & right) of the spool holder core.
[3] Center the spool holder core onto the axis so it can spin freely when places on the spool holder fixations.
