Description
These arrow fins are designed to simplify fletching by eliminating the need for precise alignment and messy glue. The model consists of a thin cylindrical sleeve that slides over the back of the arrow shaft, with three integrated fins evenly spaced around it.
The fins are intended to be 3D printed in TPU, allowing the sleeve to flex slightly and grip the arrow through friction. Glue can be used if desired, but the design aims to make it optional.
To minimize weight, the sleeve is only 0.5 mm thick, making it suitable for experimentation and prototyping. This design has not yet been flight-tested, so performance, durability, and consistency have not been validated.
