Description
Radon is a chemical element; it has the symbol Rn and atomic number 86. It is a radioactive noble gas and is colorless and odorless. Of the three naturally occurring radon isotopes, only 222Rn has a sufficiently long half-life (3.825 days) for it to be released from the soil and rock where it is generated. Radon isotopes are the immediate decay products of radium isotopes.
Radon is the #1 cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. Exposure to high levels of radon in indoor air results in an increased risk of developing lung cancer. The risk of cancer depends on the level of radon and how long a person is exposed to those levels. In central British Columbia, Canada, more than 30% of homes have levels exceeding 200 Bq/m³, which is the equivalent of smoking 8-10 cigarettes per day.
This 2-color label/sign is meant to be placed next to a radon gas detector to alert others to check the readings regularly & not to disturb. Size the model to meet your requirements.
