Description
Printing the Super Mario Questionmark lampshade, I ran into a couple of problems.
So, I remixed it and thought I'd put the effort up on Printables.
----------------------------------------
Made it so that the walls can be printed using MMU or colourchange. Print with 100% infill and a good first layer on bed.
Made bars with pins so they are easier to glue. Print with supports underneath the pins.
Added a 24mm hole in the floor, which can be expanded using a negative form in any slicer over it (align a 24mm cylinder to the hole, and then scale it to whatever size hole you need.
----------------------------------------
The shade is held onto my lamp with the bulb. Simple solution and works well.
I printed mine in PLA, and it seems to work really well without melting.
Does require supergluing the walls to the bars and frame, and maybe the bars to the frame (test and see the tolerances for yourself.
