Corsair 4000D Airflow Top Mounted 360 AIO

Officially Corsair doesn't support top-mounted 360 AIO on this case, and a lot of people seem to grab an angle grinder or otherwise alter the case to make it fit. A common "fix" is to remove the front panel, but that leaves stupid-looking buttonholes on top of your case, and on top of that, you have to find another solution to locate your power/reset buttons. My goal was to make this work without removing or altering the case in any way.

There are few drawbacks, of course. For example, you can't fit 3x120mm fans in front because there is no room for the top one, unless you want to mount them outside of the case. 3 fans would be outside, between the front metal mesh and the case, but you would have to remove the filter.

Also, you don't have room to mount the rear exhaust fan because the AIO covers the top part of the original mounting route. I was able to make another model to fix that (Corsair 4000D Airflow Exhaust Fan Mount)

It could work for other AIOs too, but I can't give any guarantees for that. There isn't much room between the AIO pump and the radiator, and the Arctic II pump is quite slim, so I would assume that, for example, the Arctic III would not work because the pump is taller.
RAM clearance should not be the issue, regardless of what AIO you use, because even my Trident Royal Z's fit there quite nicely. No additional hardware needed, I used the screws that came with the AIO.

I have included the step files, so you could try to make it fit your needs.

This is a very niche product, and installing it is quite tedious. You have to be mindful about what order you insert the components. For example if you mount the radiator first, you no longer have acces to install the pump, etc.


Printed with PETG and 15% infill, no supports. I don't recommend PLA unless it's your only option, because the radiator can get pretty hot

You likely have to split it unless you have over 360 mm print volume.
