Eufy Breast Pump Case

Design Concept

The design is round in shape and has a print in place handle that prints on the top of the piece with a print in place hinge. The hook for the locking mechanism is connected via a print in place hinge as well. I designed the top and bottom pieces to nest inside of each other. The carrying case will keep the pumps upright as long as it doesn't get shaken around aggressively. Just carrying the case normally we didn't notice the pumps moving around a lot. I initially wanted to print the whole thing in place, but most build plates can't handle that size so I split it up into two parts. Total filament is about 500 to 600 g depending on your support and infill settings, so it's a bit of a commitment. 

Instructions

You MUST PRINT the Eufy Breast Pump Holder by Veco. The holder will sit inside of the carrying case and is responsible for holding the breast pumps upright. I've already oriented the STL files in the orientation that would work the best for printing so you shouldn't need to orient them. 

With the top and the bottom in two parts you'll need to use a bolt to connect the top and bottom together. The hole through the hinge connecting the top and bottom is about 5 mm, so anything that has 0.2 mm of play should be a good size. Print both the top and the bottom. 

Printing Instructions

The print settings in the 3MF file I uploaded are good for the bottom, but I'm not sure I love them for the top. The organic tree supports failed a bit on the underside of the handle. I've also added files to print handle separately. It's possible that it doesn't even need supports if your printer rocks. The top lid has some annoying support for the nesting of the top and bottom, and the hook connected to the hinge as well. 

Post Processing

The supports for me came off relatively easy when setting the top z distance at 0.25 mm. Taking the supports off the outer ring was not that fun. When I went to break the filament for the print in place hinge for the hook it didn't break right away and I bent the hook a little creating a weak point in it. I eventually got it to rotate with some pliers. I might need to increase the gap on that hinge. Because the supports on the handle failed there was more cleanup than I wanted on the handle. 

Overall the user of the carrying case enjoys it - except - they didn't even use it today. I only spent 5 hours designing it for them. Could have been designing something more fun. Ah well. I hope someone out there finds this useful. 

Updates

11-03-2026: Split the handle into two parts with a dovetail in case the handle doesn't print upright. STL file in the list with Print Profile being added soon.

12-03-2026: Uploaded a top piece only without a handle and hinged hook, as well as the new independent hinged hook for those who don't want to print in place.

13-03-2026: Increased the offset for the hooked hinge on the print in place top version.
