Description
I came up with this idea to keep my hole-in-one ball safe! You can see that this was an experienced-old-ball I found somewhere...don't get caught up that you need a brand new ball to play!!!
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
I used 10%
Notes:
----> "cup" ---> I have cut the cup in half and then glued it together...this way I didn't have to use supports. I did that right in PrusaSlicer.
----> "dirt" ----> I have paused the print before the end (about 10 mm) and changed the filament to a lighter color of brown to kind of tie the grass + top soil...
----> Personalize it ----> You can add the hole number on the flag and the course with the date on the dirt...like I did.
"Putting" it all together
I glued the "dirt" and "grass" together. I also glued the "flag" to the "flag post". The "cup" just slides in place and can be removed. Same with the flag post...
DON'T FORGET TO ADD YOUR BALL!!!
Although I can design my stuff, this was done by one of our CAD engineers, Scott (Thank you, Scott!). I pitched the idea and asked him to use as close to real size dimensions as possible! Next time you are out golfing...cut that out from the green and measure! Watch out for the green's keeper!!!
