Description
Having used the previous version for some time I decided it would be a good time to revisit its design.
Taking into account feedback, my own and user experience I've added some quality of life features and updated the way the box is filled while lowering the complexity and part count.
Printed on the K2 plus using fillamentum PLA in Natural
Both parts are pre oriented for printing
the only place support is required is on the underside of the overhang this is to allow the original cover to fit over the top still as pictured bellow (Paint the green area using the support painting tool).
When sliced it should look as below no other support is needed.
The Lid requires the seam to be moved to the middle of the underside of the lid as shown in the picture bellow (seam is in green)
I will include the pre sliced 3MF file with 1 Silca gel container and 2 silica gel containers pre sliced
The silica gel container itself should print in around 1hr 45mins in PLA.
The lid will take longer due to slowing the outer wall speed down significantly and reducing the layer height I set mine at 0.08 this takes 4.5 hours 0.12 takes just under 3 hours id recommend taking the time to print the 0.08 version this will be smother in use.

Start with the 0.2 high quality pre-set

Start with the same settings as above
Layer height set to 0.08 or 0.12
Speed outer wall set to 3mm/s
Outer wall set to 50mm/s2
Jerk outer wall set to 2mm/s
Brim set to auto
Final filament used should be around 30g of PLA per silica gel container
Optional funnel (around 10g of pla) to aid in filling the container (partially open the container until a square hole is made insert funnel then fill as normal tap to pack the silica gel more tightly do not add too much or when you remove the funnel it will spill making a mess)
