Description
This simple model is designed to better enshroud a heads-up display (HUD) for a "Widerlife" branded HUD from Amazon. In my vehicle, where I wanted to place the HUD, I could still see the display, not just the reflection in the windshield, which was a bit annoying. This blocks your view of the display, so you can only see the reflection in the windshield as intended. The cover can either be glued or double sided taped on to the HUD.
I have included 3x different heights of the model, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm. I've also included a .STEP and .f3d archive file to easily make changes.
NOTE: Make sure to print this in a high-temperature resistant filament like PETG, Nylon, PC, ABS, or ASA, as it will get quite hot on a summer day in a vehicle. I printed mine with Prusament PETG-CF, which looks amazing and should be able to handle the heat.
