50 Cal Ammo Can Desiccant Tray

This is a desiccant tray that fits in the bottom of a 50 cal ammo can. I am using it to store my welding wire in a low moisture environment.

This is a large model, measuring 11 inches in length and 5.5 inches wide.

This model requires supports underneath the tray, that is the only area that any of the parts require support.

The lid slides into a dovetail and is fully captured when installed into an ammo can.

The finger hole adapter is designed to flex and snap into place in the center of the tray. I would highly recommend installing the finger adapter before trying to test fit the print into an ammo can, if your can is like mine it might be a little warped making this a tight fit and its hard to get out without a fingerhold.

I don't know how much desiccant it holds, but it holds a lot.
