Monitor Speaker - Desktop Wedge Mounts

Lift your desktop monitor speakers up a bit, for better sound and reduced desk vibration.

The standard AMF and STL files here have a front edge that is 100mm high, and angles the speaker upwards at 5°, towards your ears. They are pictured under a Yamaha HS7, 7" monitor. They require a large print bed because the object has a base dimension of 225 x 115mm.

The included FreeCAD file is parametric, so that you can adjust the sizes and angles to suit your speakers and… ear height.

I printed mine in TPU with 0.3mm layers and 10% cubic infill. They are slightly squishy to better damp the vibrations. At around 350g each, they were my largest TPU prints so far.

Lifting the monitors up also makes it harder to accidentally jam things into the speaker cones. Bonus!
