68 VW Cup Holder

Cup Holder for 68 VW DoubleCab Transporter.  Likely fits other models but only tested on mine.  Designed with printability and strength in mind it's designed to attach to the existing ashtray.  You'll need to remove the single nut retaining the faceplate on the ashtray and attach the cupholder using the same hole.  I used a #10 bolt which is a snug fit but left room in the design to use whatever you have that will fit. 

There are 2 versions here.

The "through hole" version has a hole parallel to the bottom with space inside the cupholder to attach a nut to the bolt.  That version uses the "washer" to make up for the difference in angle and not damage your ashtray. It also has a logo on the front.

The "blind hole" version (pictured) has a hole that matches the angle of the front of the ashtray and doesn't require the washer.  You may want to secure the bolt with adhesive if you choose this version. 

Neither version require any permanent alteration of the original equipment and they clear the emergency brake handle.
