The Avon Filter Mount Plug Tool is an essential accessory for twin port Air Purifying Respirator (APR) users. As part of your kit, the filter plug lets you securely fit filter canisters on either side of compatible respirator masks.

The original file is quite compact and meant to stow easily in a pocket or pouch alongside the mask. There is also an "ergo" version with a long handle that is significantly easier to use, but obviously takes up more space.
