Beer candle (mold master)

This is a mold master for creating mold from silicone rubber.

You can than use that mold for casting candles or soap.

This beer is about 7cm in height.

How to do a silicone mold

• Print the mold master and put the cover onto the beer itself

• Take a hot glue gun and seal the bottom edge

• Prepare about 110ml of silicone. Mix it properly and pour into the container.

• Let it harden for about 3 hours (or what your silicone label says).

• When the silicone is hard, remove the outer shell by force. The model will be likely destroyed in this process. Wear safety glasses for this step.

• Turn the mold bottoms up and use sharp knife to gently cut the silicone, to be able to remove the inside master. DO NOT CUT TO THE VERY BOTTOM. Just enough for you can remove the master (and the candle later).

• Optionally take a rubber band and carefully put it over the silicone mold, for better sealing of the cut.
