Description
I designed a roofrack for my RC tamiya classic mini cooper. Scale of the model is 1:10.
Two files are supplied, the roofrack and an additional holder for a rally shield.
The roofrack is modeled using my 60mm tamiya rc wheel tires. As a result it does not fit on the RC car in width. I therefore placed it with a 90 degrees angle. The roofrack has 4 holes for an magnet (diameter 5 mm, height 3 mm). I added four magnets to the roofrack. I also placed four magnets on the inside of my RC car body. To keep the tires in place I used DIN912 bolts M4x20. I used a nut to fix the bolt. and a second nut to fix each wheel.
The roofrack is based on pictures from Tamiya model 24048, which is a static model scale 1:24.
I printed the roofrack upside down.
So additinal required are:
- 8x magnet Diameter 5 mm x 3 mm high
- 2x M4x20 bolt (DIN912)
- 4x nut M4
The rally shield design is modeled based on the Tamiya 24048 model sticker and resixed to 1:10 scale. I used glue to attach the shield to the roofrack. I used glue to add the printed shield (printed on paper) to the shield.
