Recommended Print Settings

• Filament material: TPU

• Layer height: Default or finer

• Wall Ordering: Inside to Outside

• Supports: Type - Normal; Style - Snug

• Infill: 15%

• Infill Pattern: Gyroid

• Nozzle Temp: 230°C

• Bed Temp: 45°C

Notes: Please make sure your printer and filament settings/profiles are dialed and your filament is fully dried!

How to customise the name plate in the slicer?

1. Pick the "Blank" versions of the model

1. Import the model into your slicer

2. Press the shortcut key "T" to enter the text function

1. Set "Size" between 4-8. "Embedded depth" at 0.20

1. Go into "Objects" in the Process panel. Right-click on the text_shape and select "Change type"

1. Choose "Negative Part"

1. Use the Move tool and set the Z height to 0.00

Which file to choose?

File names follow this naming convention:

ModelName - DecorationName_StickType

TX15 Gimbal Protector - Blank_Stock

Blank name plate area with 10mm holes for the sticks

TX15 Gimbal Protector - TX15MAX_Wide

"TX15 Max" text on the name plate area with 16mm holes for the sticks

• DecorationName (here's a list of default names; for special editions, please see the special editions folder)

  • Blank - No decor

  • TX15 - TX15 text

  • TX15 Max - TX15 text

• StickType

  • Stock - <10mm stick ends

  • Wide - 11-16mm stick ends

• Special Editions - custom versions that you have previously requested through Discord.

Important Note

• Please note that ALL models has exact same geometry, as TX15 and TX15 Max has the same geometry!

• The end of the toggle switch protection areas does not fully conform with the face of the radio due to support optimisation, which is an intended feature.
