nice owl bedside lamp

very satisfactory bedside lamp....

The shade fits nicely this time and I have shown in the photos the simple structure. I live in Europe and their standard thin 2 pin plug will pull through the stand with a bit of encouragement.If you have a bigger plug I am afraid you will have to wire it after threading the cable through the stand.

I used organic support with him placed on his front and with a bit of rootling about the supports came out quite easily from inside...

PLEASE USE A LED LIGHT BULB.....THE SHELL WILL MELT WITH A HOT BULB...!

I printed it all on my ankermake m5c single colour printer with the beak and the eyes printed separately.

the beak is yellow and with the eyes you must change from yellow to black for the last 3 or 4 layers....

sorry guys the eyes and the beak may be a bit loose,(I was anxious I might punch through the shell), so you might need a bit of glue to secure them!

I put a flat on the back of the eyes cos they kept whizzing off the build plate. now they have a bit more adhesion....

I think this one should appeal to more people than my other efforts...
