Lack Leg Connector

The print file includes four sets of keyed top and bottom connectors, along with an alignment tool to help with positioning (as pictured). The connectors measure ½" (12.5mm) tall when stacked and have the same depth and width as a standard Lack table leg.

Printing

This should be a very easy print at 0.2mm. The included file is set to 4 perimeters and 40% infill, which has been more than strong enough in my experience. No supports or brims should be needed.

Assembly

You'll need 4 short wood screws per connection, two each to tie the top and bottom connectors into the legs. I had a bunch of 1-¼" (30mm) screws on hand, which worked well. Drilling pilot holes is helpful, but not necessary.

You'll also need 1 long wood screw per connection, to tie the top and bottom plates together together. I used 1-¾" (45mm) black drywall screws that I already had.

You'll probably want to position the connection holes so they're not too visible. The connector plates have embossed labels TOP and BASE, to help with orienting things (but it doesn't really matter which is on the top or the bottom). The connectors keys can be rotated 180º and will still work.
