Description
A robust variation of my cable holders, designed specifically for flat-mounting. Unlike standard clips where the screw is driven from the top down, these are designed so the screw goes directly through the base in the same plane as the holder.
This makes them perfect for mounting along the sides of desks, baseboards, or 3D printer aluminum extrusions (using M4 T-nuts).
Key Features:
Flat-Mount Design: The screw hole is positioned parallel to the insertion gap, allowing for low-profile mounting against flat edges.
M4 Hardware: Designed for stronger M4 screws (great for V-Slot/T-Slot aluminum extrusions or heavy-duty wood screws).
4 Different Sizes: Includes four variations to hold anything from thin USB cables to thick power cords.
Easy Access: Firmly holds the cables but allows you to snap them in and out without removing the screw.
Printing Instructions:
Orientation: Print flat on the bed (laying on its side). This ensures optimal layer adhesion so the clip can flex without snapping when inserting cables.
Supports: NONE. Designed to be 100% support-free.
Material: PETG or ABS is recommended for their flexural strength. PLA works fine if you don't plan on removing the cables often.
Infill: 100% (or increase perimeters so the part is solid plastic).
