Brush Cable Grommet for AD5X

Flexible brush-style cable entry for heated bed wiring — clean, durable, and easy to install.

This model is designed to guide heated bed cables through the printer enclosure panel. It helps prevent cable chafing, reduces mechanical stress, and keeps dust and debris out — all while maintaining full freedom of movement.

⚠ Please note: The version shown in the photos is an early prototype without beveled edges.
The uploaded model features beveled edges to allow smoother cable travel and reduce friction during bed movement.

🔧 Material Recommendation

This part is intended to be flexible, so it must be printed in TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) .

For the best balance between flexibility and durability, use:

✅ TPU 75A / 80A / 85A / 90A – soft enough to insert cables easily, yet firm enough to hold shape
❌ TPU 95A – too rigid, may fail to flex properly.

⚠ Do not use PLA, PETG, ABS, or other rigid filaments — they will not function as intended.

🛠 Installation Tips

• Use slow print speeds for the bristle area to avoid stringing

• Supports are not needed

• Use of B-7000 adhesive or any flexible glue around the frame edge before inserting into the cutout
