Description
The Abus 402 comes with a mount that's at right angles to what I need, so I designed a mount that's better suited.
The source is openscad so if your seat stem is a different diameter, or if you want the mount to be a different position in space, you can easily change it.
The '3' version is the one pictured curve-up. The '5' version rotates it by 180 degrees and moves it to a position I find doesn't bump my leg while pedalling (cover picture). It has a flat space for some anti-rattle foam. It's also a better example of coding :)
For strength, print it so the seat stem part is horizontal. Minimal support is needed, and I recommend filament with a little flex, like PETG.
V7 tilts the holder so the lock is horizontal (my bike's seat post is 18 degrees from vertical), and is in three parts. Glue two of them together. This enables the three parts to be optimally oriented for strength.
