I’m really excited to share the 58th addition to "The Honest Shelf" series. With the NORDIX Duo, I wanted to experiment with visual balance. I spent hours refining the sharp, faceted edges of the vase to ensure they catch the light beautifully, and then paired them with a tactile, "rope-style" braided tray that feels warm and inviting. ☕✨

This isn't just a single model; it’s a modular decor system. I designed it so you can print the tray to organize your everyday carry, or the vase for your favorite dried botanicals. Together, they create a high-end "Japandi" look that honestly looks like it came from a boutique design studio. 🏺🥯

🎨 Color & Material Guide

For that premium "stoneware" aesthetic, I highly recommend using Matte Filaments:

• Terracotta & Earth Tones: Perfect for a warm, Mediterranean or Boho vibe. 🧱

• Matte Black or White: Gives it a timeless, high-end Nordic look. ⚪⚫

• Wood PLA: The tray looks stunning in wood filament—especially if you give it a quick light sanding. 🪵

🛠 Pro Printing Tips

• The "Luxury" Finish: I personally enable the "Ironing" feature in the slicer for the top surfaces of the tray and the rim of the vase. It takes a bit longer, but it creates a silky-smooth finish that hides all layer lines. 💎

• Material: PLA works perfectly. If you want to use the vase with real flowers, remember to use "Vase Mode" or extra walls + a sealant to make it watertight! 💧

• Scaling: Feel free to scale the tray up to 150% to use it as a fruit bowl or a larger entryway organizer! 📏
