Description
This project is a 3D printable mounting system that lets you hang a standard US pegboard over a door. It requires no screws, no drilling, and no damage to the door.
I designed this to organize my 3D printing tools and store filament spools inside my printing closet where they would be easily accessible.
door_hook.stl - Top hook that hangs the pegboard over the door
door_hook_foot.stl - Spacer feet to keep the board off the door
door_hook_pin.stl - Locking pin that secures parts to the pegboard
The hooks clip onto the top of the pegboard and hang over the door.
The feet attach to the middle and bottom of the pegboard to keep it spaced off the door.
The pin friction-fits through the pegboard hole and locks both hooks and feet in place.
No hardware required.
You can use as many hooks or feet as needed depending on pegboard size and load.
Material: PLA
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 40–60% for hooks (higher if loading with filament spools), feet do not need much infill
Walls: 3+ perimeters recommended
Print hooks on their side for maximum strength across the layer lines
Supports required for the hooks
Designed for 1.375 inch thick doors. Measure your door before printing.
Heavier loads may require additional hooks.
