Compact Tap Holder Set (M2–M4)

This is a small, ergonomic tap holder set designed to replace a traditional tap wrench (Windeisen) for small metric taps.

It is ideal for:

• Re-threading plastic parts
• Cleaning damaged threads
• Working with very small taps (M2–M4)
• Situations where a standard tap wrench is too bulky

Important:
This tool is NOT suitable for cutting threads in steel or hard materials.
It is designed for light-duty use, especially plastic.

Versions included

There are three slightly different inner diameters:

• Version 1

• Version 2

• Version 3

They are compatible with taps in sizes:

M2
M2.5
M3
M4

Depending on the manufacturer, the shank diameter may vary slightly.
For example, M2 and M2.5 taps usually fit best in Version 1.

Printing recommendations

• 20% infill recommended

• Tested with ABS, works well

• Print flat on the base

• No supports required
