3D-Printed Modular Greenhouse – Product Description
This project features a fully customizable 3D-printed modular greenhouse designed for small plants, seedlings, and herbs. The system combines practical plant care features with a flexible modular structure, making it ideal for makers, gardeners, and indoor growers.
Integrated Drip Tray
The greenhouse includes a removable drip tray at the bottom to collect excess water. This prevents spills, keeps surfaces clean, and allows controlled drainage after watering.
Flip-Up Watering Window
A hinged, flip-up window provides easy access for watering and plant maintenance without removing the entire cover, helping maintain humidity and temperature.
Modular Plant Inserts
Plants are placed in interchangeable modular inserts arranged on a grid system. Possible layouts include:
1×1
2×1
2×2
4×2
This raster system allows flexible scaling depending on plant size and space requirements.
Custom Window Panels
Users can install their own transparent panels, such as plexiglass (acrylic) or plastic film, to protect plants while maintaining light transmission and visibility.
Fusion 360 CAD File Included
A fully editable CAD file for Fusion 360 is included, allowing users to modify dimensions, ventilation, wall thickness, and layout to fit their needs.
