Since this was one of my most popular models in the before times I wanted to take another stab at this model by hand. I chipped away on this for a few days and came up with a pretty neat looking T-Rex. I rolled some of the insights from the original into this one by adding more contact points and I had some fun make a spine out of several layers of parts on a curve.
This is intended to be a 50mm T-Rex skeleton - hopefully that's what it looks like. I skipped individual ribs on this guy because they're a pain to print and clean up but I might circle back to do this in another version. I've included the basic version of this creature here and I've added an exclusive version that I sculpted over on my Patreon which you can find over here.
The exclusive version of this creature is available for free (for now) but that might change in the future so if you like it then I recommend downloading it while you can.
To make printing easier I didn't bother adding ribs and I've tried to keep it as solid as possible. The main part I'd worry about is the standalone tiny arm which has the highest risk of snapping off when supports are removed.
For resin folks I've added some pre-supported files for this model. For FDM it's going to be tricky any way that we to try slice it - I've included my test print 3mf file on Patreon and will update when I've printed this fellow then report back.
