Description
A fully functional 17mm combination wrench, accurately modeled for real-world dimensions.
While this 3D-printed version won’t replace a steel wrench in the garage, it is strong enough for light tightening and perfect for educational purposes. It’s an ideal addition to a child's first toolbox, teaching them how tools work in a safe and fun way.
Technical Parameters & Print Settings:
Supports: Required only for the box-end (ring) of the wrench.
Material: I recommend PETG or ASA for better durability, though PLA works fine for toy use.
Perimeters (Walls): Increase to at least 4-6 walls for maximum structural strength.
Infill: 40% or higher (Gyroid recommended) to prevent snapping under torque.
Orientation: Print flat on the bed for the best layer strength along the handle.
