Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 Prusament alternate Spool

I discovered that Prusament spools don't fit on the filament holder of my Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2.

Therefore, I designed replacement spools that can be attached to the cardboard rings of the Prusament spools.

To remove the original parts, it's best to print the removal tool and, as shown, gently tap it between the windings and the black side panels with the flat of your hand until it's halfway in. Once the removal tool is halfway in, the side panel will be pulled out of the cardboard by 2mm at that point and can be removed with a little force (using a flat object as a lever makes this easier).

Be careful not to knock the winding off the cardboard. Then, insert the replacement part, which has a larger hole diameter, into the same notches in the cardboard and tap it firmly into place with the flat of your hand.

Repeat this process for the other side.

Now the spool can be used without having to modify the original printer mount.

Inr recommend to test it first with an empty spool. The new one has to fit tight inside the cardboard ring.

My favorite is my second design. The spring-loaded elements need to be removed from the original mount (but can be reattached), and then the adapter can simply be slid on and easily clicks into place.

Ich musste bei meinem Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 feststellen, dass auf dem Filamenthalter keine PRUSAMENT Spulen passen.

Deshalb habe ich Spulen konstruiert, die ersatzweise auf die Kartonringe der Prusamentspulen aufgesteckt werden können.

Zur Demontage der originalen Teile am Besten das Demontageteil drucken und wie gezeigt zwischen den Wicklungen und den Schwarzen Seitenteilen mit gefühlvollen Schlägen mit der flachen Hand bis zur Mitte eintreiben. Wenn das Demontageteil bis zur Mitte eingetrieben ist, wurde dadurch das Seitenteil an der Stelle bereits um 2mm aus dem Karton gezogen und lässt sich mit etwas Kraft (leichter tut man sich mit einem Flachen gegenstand als Heble) aus dem Karton entfernen.

Hierbei ist Vorsicht geboten, um die Wicklung nicht von dem Karton zu stoßen. Anschließend das Ersatzteil mit größerem Lochdurchmesser wieder in die gleichen Kerben im Karton einbringen und mit der flachen Hand festklopfen.

Dies bei der zweiten Seite wiederholen.

Nun kann die Spule genutzt werden, ohne an der originalen Druckeraufnahme etwas verändern zu müssen.

Mein Favorit ist mein zweites Design. Es müssen von der original Aufnahme die gefederten Elemente entfernt werden (können aber wieder montiert werden) und danach kann der Adapter einfach aufgeschoben werden und verrastet leicht in Position.
