Description
This TPU strip mounts under the Voron deck panel and solves four problems:
Support: It supports the 4mm deck panel from the LDO kit.
Thermal Seal: Creates a seal between the deck and the aluminum extrusions to keep heat inside the chamber.
Debris Protection: Prevents debris from falling into the electronics compartment.
Cable Management: Clips the excess umbilical cable securely under the deck—eliminating the need to route it through the LDO cable channels, which become nearly inaccessible once covers are installed.
The seal is a simple push-in fit—no screws or tools required. It can be installed on a fully assembled Voron without any disassembly. The small tab at the end of the clip allows you to insert or remove the cable easily with your fingertip.
For peace of mind, consider using these Extended Belt Guards. They act as a physical stop to prevent the Deck Seal from touching the belts, especially when pushing it into corners where visibility is blocked by the stepper motors.
The seal is provided as a 100mm section with a centered clip. To cover the full deck perimeter, use the Cut Tool in PrusaSlicer to trim sections to your exact frame length. Multiple sections join end-to-end for a complete seal.
Material: TPU 95A

About Voron3tz
Voron3tz is a collection of open-source mods designed, printed, and tested on a Voron 2.4 350mm LDO build. Every mod comes with STEP files so you can adapt them to your own setup.
Why Voron3tz? Voron + 3D = Voroneț, a 500-year-old painted monastery in Romania with a blue pigment that somehow still hasn't faded. If the paint can survive five centuries of Bucovina weather, ASA parts can probably handle a heated chamber. Probably.
If something doesn't fit right, could work better, or you just want to share your build — drop a comment or a make. Feedback is what keeps these projects improving.
More Voron3tz mods:
Panel Glide System — TPU rail system for tool-free panel removal
