Description
I've been holding off on posting this for months because I keep forgetting to take pictures, but at this point I'm just going to post and hopefully come back later with pictures.
These are rack ears for an Allen & Heath AB/DX/DT168 digital snake. I had a client order snakes and racks, but not the mounting kit, so I tossed this together quickly to get them by. They hold up surprisingly well, but I would not recommend them for a heavy touring environment. Print out of a sturdy material (PETG is fine for stationary objects, PC has held up to light road use so far) with extra perimeters and higher infill.
Be aware of the filaments that creep over time. I would not trust PLA for this print, as it will eventually fail and drop your expensive stage box.
If you aren't aware, Allen & Heath makes a steel mounting kit. I'd definitely recommend purchasing it instead of 3D printing, but it's quite expensive for being bent sheet metal and not always necessary.
