Description
This includes two parts:
a “cap” that is sized to fit on a standard speaker stand, with the threads of a bolt pointing up out of the stand
a “knob” that contains a nut that screws onto the threaded part of the cap
I use this as a DJ. If I have multiple lights I'll hang them on a T-bar, but when I want to attach a single light to the top of a speaker stand I use this.
However, it's really just “a bolt and nut on top of a speaker stand” that could be used to attach anything that has a mounting hole larger than ~10mm onto a speaker stand.
In addition to the printed parts, this version requires:
One M10 bolt
One M10 nut (same thread pitch)
Super glue or other glue to glue the bolt and nut into the printed parts.
Thanks to @keegan who provided the Fusion 360 file that I remixed. I am also sharing my modified .f3d file for remixing purposes.
In this remix I changed the dimensions of the hole and bolt insert because M10 bolts were more readily available to me. I also added the knurled handle that takes the M10 nut to screw onto the bolt.
Note although I only posted renders, I did in fact print and use these (see the photo where the lights are circled, from across the dance floor). They're put away now in storage with my DJ gear and I don't want to dig it out for a photo.
