Rosti Mepal lunchbox clip

After the clips of my lunchbox broke off, I used the loose clips as they still kept the lunchbox closed. But after I lost one of them, I went looking for a replacement and thought it would be a nice opportunity to turn on the printer again ;) .

Since there wasn't a good design on thingiverse yet, I designed my own.

I designed it to resemble the original thing as close as possible.

The hooks get the clip secured on the lid. It can be removed by compressing the hooks with some pliers.

Between the round part and the hooks there is a thing piece of just a few layers in height to get some flex between the clip and the lid. Carefully bend it at installation to prevent it from snapping.

I printed it in PLA with 0.1mm layer height and supports. 0.2mm layers may also work, but then you get just 2 layers at the "hinge" which may not be strong enough (hinge is 0.4mm).

Also, since PLA is not dishwasher safe, I plan on reprinting the slips in PETG as this should be more dishwasher resistant. ABS is more heat resistant, but not as flexible.

Supports are needed as the clip contains steep overhangs. I could redesign that on request.
