Description
A mic holder for wireless mics to replace the standard (wired) mic holders on a typical mic stand.
These holders are relatively cheap to print and can be installed fairly easily in most cases. You may need to add or remove shims / washers to get the mic's holder's tail piece or "stem" to fit. Regarding the "stem", I've provided two different diameters for the rounded stem piece, based on the different mic stands we have: 27 mm and 18 mm.
When printed in TPU (95A or 98A shore hardness) with 2 or 3 wall loops and 25 to 30 percent gyroid infill, the mic holder is stiff enough to hold the mic effectively, but flexible enough to allow relatively easy insertion and removal of the mic. However, it's still usable if printed with non-flexible materials. If printed in the default orientation, no supports should be needed.
I've also included head caps for PVC pipe in common sizes for attaching the mic holder (for the mic holder with the 18 mm tail piece). You can attach it with a 1/4 inch or 6 mm bolt and nut. Using a thumb screw and wing nut is probably a good idea so they can be adjusted by hand.
