Description
Overview
This chibi mindflyer is a stylized, compact miniature blending adorable proportions with classic eldritch features: bulbous head, tiny tentacles, and a small brain prop. It was designed primarily as a decorative figure for shelves and dioramas but scaled and balanced so it can be used in tabletop RPG sessions as a playable enemy or NPC.
Primary Role: Decorative collectible and display miniature.
Secondary Role: Playable tabletop miniature for RPG encounters, skirmishes, or as a unique NPC.
Balance Advice: If used in combat, treat as a low‑to‑mid challenge enemy (see stat block below) suitable for small party encounters or as a whimsical boss in lighthearted sessions.

Traits Tiny Mind. The chibi mindflyer has advantage on saving throws against being charmed. Telepathic Whispers. The mindflyer can communicate telepathically with any creature within 60 feet that can understand a language.
Actions Tentacle. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + 3 bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Intelligence saving throw or be distracted (disadvantage on attack rolls) until the end of its next turn. Brain Tap (Recharge 5–6). The mindflyer emits a tiny psychic pulse in a 15‑foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 13 Intelligence saving throw, taking 3d6 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much on a success. On a failed save, the target is also stunned until the end of its next turn.
Psychic Nibble. Melee attack against a stunned creature: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 + 3 psychic damage.
Reactions
Spore Puff. When a creature ends its turn within 5 feet of the mindflyer, the mindflyer can release a tiny puff of confusing spores. The creature must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or have its movement reduced by half until the end of its next turn.
Tactics The chibi mindflyer prefers to harass with Brain Tap from a short distance, then close to use Tentacle and Spore Puff. It avoids prolonged melee but will use Psychic Nibble against incapacitated foes.
