Description
Since DeWalt doesn't have an affordable drill dust shroud I made one myself. It works with DeWalt vacuums, but an ordinary one would still be fine. The cutout for the drill is 30x30mm. For lower power vacuums you need to make the cutout smaller using the insert with a 16mm hole. My vacuum is about 600W and the shroud with the insert sticks to walls and ceilings just fine. It holds its weight and the weight of the vacuum pipe.
Self-adhesive EPDM sealer 5x15mm or simillar
O-ring sealer 3,5x33mm (optional)
Clear film sheet about 0,5mm thick (optional)
Print the model from PETG, standing upright, use inner brim, 3 walls, 10% infill. Glue down the sealer. You can print the attached insert, or better cut it from a clear film. You can experiment how big the hole can be, while still producing enough adherence to the wall. Put on the o-ring if you want to seal the airlock connection.
