Description
This battery pack is the result of finding a new charger module on amazon and making a case to fit it.
I have used a lot of electronic boards for charging modules and none of the cases I could find online really were perfect. With some being downright complicated to even put together. This project aims to make the process of making a battery pack simpler and with few parts, while providing a robust enclosure for the delicate cells.
The new charging module that I found for this pack:
https://amzn.to/3ZXG5pT
It has a charging current of 5A and provides up to 22.5W. Not to mention its type-C bi-directional. It also features a thermistor for temperature regulation.
Hardware needed:
3x 4mm m2 screws
Other:
Super Glue (optional but recommended)
The status button is a super tiny button on the side of the module. I modeled a slim piece that fits perfectly into a channel which allows access to this button from the outside of the battery pack, letting you check the charge percentage at any time.
The lid should fit snugly against the cells when assembled. For a permanent lid when finished, use the super glue to put the two pieces together permanently.
PLEASE NOTE:
This battery pack is not water or dust tight.
