Nonwoven Unwinder Splice Bar

This is a pretty specific application on specific application so it will not be widely useful.  

I needed a splice bar for a nonwoven unwinder.  The piece needed to be flexible on the surface but still stiff enough to withstand the loading.  The part was made with 95A TPU for flexibility with PETG infill for the stiffness.  This is high speed application that has been working for about a year.

It was printed on the XL.  I just wanted to through an unusual application out there that shows a 3D printed version of overmolding.  This would be difficult to make with any other technology.
