Heart Polaroid/Instamix/Custom Photo Holder

Showcase your favorite memories with this elegant, heart-shaped photo holder!

This design is fully parametric and optimized for support-free printing. Whether you have classic Polaroids, Instax Minis, Instax Wides, or a custom photo size, this holder can be adjusted to fit perfectly.

The heart stands upright with a stable, chamfered base that prints flat on the build plate without any overhangs exceeding 45°.

Photo Size

• Photo Type: Select from presets: Polaroid, Instax Mini, Instax Wide, or Custom.

• Custom Dimensions: If using Custom, exact millimeters for width and height can be set.

Heart Shape

• Heart Width: Adjust the overall size of the heart (default: 60mm).

• Heart Thickness: Thickness of the main slab (default: 6mm).

• Edge Rounding: Smoothness of the heart's edges.

Photo Slot

• Slot Depth: How deep the photo sits inside the heart.

• Slot Gap & Tolerance: Fine-tune the fit for your printer's accuracy and photo paper thickness.

Base Stability

• Foot Extension: Controls how far the base sticks out front/back to prevent tipping.

• Base Height & Width: Adjust the dimensions of the stabilizing foot.

Printing Recommendations 🖨

• Orientation: Print as downloaded (upright). The base is designed to sit flat on the bed.

• Supports: None required! The design uses 45° chamfers to ensure stability without support material.

• Layer Height: 0.2mm or finer for a smooth heart curve.

• Infill: 15-20% is sufficient.

• Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS working great. Silk PLA looks especially nice for the heart finish.
