DampFree / Anko Moisture Absorber Secure Lid

This lid is for use with DampFree or Anko 300g Moisture Absorber containers available from Bunnings and Kmart Australia. The product is marketed as a single use disposable moisture absorber for use in cupboards and wardrobes. It seems wasteful to keep buying and throwing away plastic containers when the moisture absorbing material is depleted and the moisture absorbing refill beads can be easily purchased.

Please note that in order to reuse the container you need to remove the liquid retaining paper liner to discard the old liquid and refill the container with moisture absorbing beads.  While this lid has been designed to fit securely on the container so that it holds back the solids, it will not retain any liquid should the container be tipped over on its side.

To use, hook the clips on the long side first then press down around the edges to securely clip the lid in place.
