Description
Wanted to improve temperatures and noise on this GPU, fresh bought, no test before, because I done this mod before on other gpus I go straight forward to design / print.
The stock fans are 10mm tall, 2x 92mm and 1x 80mm, very weak blade design and they are not using the whole heatsink.
With this upgrade you can use almost 100% of the heatsink.
Use heat resistant material, it's a +350W TDP gpu. At least ASA/ABS, I used PBT+GF
0.15mm layer height
3 walls, 8 top/down layers
15% infill
x15 Heat inserts, it's intended to use 5mm OD and 4mm tall m3 heat inserts, you can use 5mm tall on fans if you don't have 4mm tall, but 4mm tall it's mandatory for the 3 heat inserts that are made to hold the case
12x M3x10 screws for fan assembly to the fan shroud
3x M3x6 button head cap for the case
2x PH 2.0 4 pin connectors + wires (for fans)
3x 92x25mm fans, mines are AVC DS09225R12HP235
12x self taping screws for fans for the case
You will reuse the 6x self tapping screws that attaches the tophat/factory fans to the heatsink.
Stock bios - 65ºC on furmark with 350W consumption and fans at 2850rpm, core @ 1545mhz
Stock bios + undervolt - 64ºC on furmark with 345W consumption and fans at 2850, core @ 1830mhz
Stock bios with fans at 2850mhz , 55ºC gaming
