Minimalist Wall Mount for 16 and 22" Buffalo Drums

The render shown here has the drum head hidden to show how the hoop rests on the mount body.

I printed both in PETG at 0.20mm layers, 3 walls and 15% infill. Mounting with 2" drywall screws. I used tree supports on the bed only to help support the top of the left screw hole, but it may print fine without.

The 16+22 model has a dual-radius top curve. This means it doesn't fit the 22" across the full top surface, but it does provide adequate support to both sizes.

If you use the trim plugs you will have to use a blade or another screw to remove them if needed in the future. I’m skipping them for now.

With this drum I place it flush on the wall to the right of the mount and slide it left until both ropes are hooked. To release it I rotate the drum counterclockwise. The hook is a little aggressive but that is by design to keep the drum in place on the wall.
