Description
This is a caulk tube holder/ organizer that you can put on a shelf, I created it for my work van. It holds 12 caulk tubes. It also has 4 little 6x3mm indentions on the bottom if you want to add 6x3mm magnets to it so it stays in place on metal shelves (my van shelves are metal that's why I added them). Its tilted up toward the front at about 5 deg to keep the caulk tubes from coming out.
A 3D printer with heated chamber recommended due to warpage because it's so large, I printed on a bambu A1 with PETG and had a slight misalignment issue toward the top because it was pulling the build plate up at the sides. If you print on an A1 or non-chamber printer I recommend using PLA-CF or GF, it shrinks less than PETG. That said, my print was still functional despite the warping.
PRINT SETTINGS:
PLA-CF or GF recommended for low shrinkage, normal PLA and or PETG-CF might be fine too. If you use regular PETG it's highly recommended to have a printer with heated chamber.
Glue stick on build plate recommended just to be safe since some warping can happen as it gets to the top,
No supports needed
10% or 12% adaptive cubic infill works just fine, doesn't need much
2 walls strength is enough.
