DriftCell – Easter Edition (EDC Carry Pod Remix)
A pocket-sized carry pod for the little things that matter.
This remix reimagines the original DriftCell storage system as a low-profile EDC carry tool. Instead of sitting on a desk and stacking, this version is designed to move with you — clipped to a bag, purse, sling, or pack.
The proportions are intentionally shallow for stability and minimal swing. The easter egg cut pattern replaces the original slashes, giving it a subtle seasonal character without turning it into novelty.
This is DriftCell, forged for carry.
Sizes Included
All variants share an internal depth of approximately 25 mm for consistent low-profile carry.
40 mm inside diameter
50 mm inside diameter (recommended starting point)
60 mm inside diameter
The 50 mm version offers the best balance between capacity and sleekness.
Bayonet-style lid (same mechanism as original DriftCell)
Integrated carry loop
Easter Egg cut pattern replacing the original slash texture
No magnets (this version is purpose-built for EDC carry)
The lid features a recessed heart detail, and .3mf files contain pauses for color swaps. The diagonal element keeps it visually aligned with the original Drift aesthetic.
Tested with:
0.2 mm layer height
3 perimeters
PLA (PETG also works well)
15–20% infill is sufficient due to the perimeter count.
Supports are required in two cases:
LID - If printing the lid in multi-color without an MMU (the recessed Easter Egg detail will require supports).
JAR - If printing with the integrated carry clip, supports are needed under it.
If you prefer to print without the clip:
Use “Split to Parts” in your slicer to remove the carry clip.
Organic supports worked best in testing.
