Description
Disclaimer (Important)
Not tested on a real DJI RS 3 Pro battery yet. Fit can vary between printers, TPU brands/hardness, slicer settings, and even manufacturing tolerances of the gimbal/battery. Print and test. Please let me know how it went - I'll gladly make some adjustments.
Recommended Material
TPU (recommended): best for a snug friction fit and easy insertion/removal.
PLA/PETG are not recommended for a press-fit dust cover here (risk of being too tight/too rigid).
Print Settings (Bambu A1 mini / general TPU-friendly)
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Perimeters/Walls: 4
Top/Bottom layers: 5 / 5
Infill: 100% (most consistent fit and grip)
Supports: Off
Brim: 3–5 mm (helps stability with TPU)
Speed (guideline): outer wall ~20 mm/s, inner ~30 mm/s, infill ~35 mm/s
Retraction: 0.6–0.8 mm @ ~20 mm/s
Temperature: use your filament profile (typical TPU is ~220–235°C nozzle, ~30–45°C bed)
Orientation
Place the part flat on its back (largest flat face on the bed), with the plug section pointing up. Use “Place on face / Drop to bed” in your slicer.
Fit Tuning Tips
If it’s too tight: reduce Flow by 1–2% or slightly increase temperature (+5°C).
If it’s too loose: increase Flow by 1–2%.
Don’t force it—this area is close to the USB-C connector.
Notes
The design includes a small friction feature (“lip”) to help it stay in place with TPU.
Please share your printer + TPU brand/hardness and fit results in the comments—feedback will help improve the model.
