Description
I purchase this cheap amp online and wanted to mount it on a wall for easy access. The mount can be attached to a wall (or whatever!) with two or three flathead wood screws. I ended up only using the two top screws for my project and that was more than enough for me to feel the thing was secure.
As you can see in one of the images or by looking at the model, the bottom of the mount is open and allows for full access to all of the ports on the front of the amp. The amp slides in and is held well with a friction fit so turning the volume nob doesn't result in any slop / wiggle, it feels held well. That said, if you expect to be plugging and unplugging things front the front often, e.g. the 3.5mm or optical of usb-c port, you may want to modify the design or use some double sided tap to secure the amp vertically or just expect you'll need to use two hands to prevent the amp being pushed out of the mount when you plug in a tight 3.5mm cable for example.
This is a really simple design but I found it really useful so figured I'd share!
