Spice Rack (Holds 16 Regular Spice Jars)

This spice rack will hold 16 regular spice jars like those sold in supermarkets (e.g. Schwartz, ASDA etc.) Jar dimensions: diameter ~44mm, height up to 12cm.

The rack is designed with very tight tolerances, as I didn't want to use glue on the main body of the item. The only glue used is to attached the knob to the top of the spine (use strong glue, as the rack is quite heavy with 16 jars in place).

You will need to print: 

2 x Platforms, 2 x Spines and 1 x Knob

The spines slot into each other and fit tightly together. These then push into the bottom platform before the 2nd platform is slid into place. The knob can then be glued onto the top using strong super glue. The position of the 2nd platform is dependent on the height of the jars you intend to use. I had a couple of jars in place on the bottom platform and tested getting them in and out of the spice rack as I positioned the 2nd platform. 

When I printed this on my Prusa MK3S+, the two spine prints fitted together without the need for any filing. These then slotted into the base platform without any filing. I did need to file the inside of the cross slightly, within the second platform, before it would slide into place down the spine.

I printed all items with 20% infill, but the spine may benefit from a higher infill percentage.
